Our little irradiated Mutants have gotten the following improvements:
Grow Shell: In addition to grow shells previous abilities, it now provides a percentage reduction to damage, much like Damcon or Fender’s Curse. This ability will temporarily deduct mana from the character while active.
Grow Body: The formula used to calculate the number of hit and mana points provided by growing body has been changed. It is now based on a percentage of the character’s maximum hit and movement points. Like grow shell, this ability temporarily deducts mana while it is active.
Grow Scar: Hit points are now restored based on a percentage of the characters maximum.
Sonicwave: The sound waves emitted from a Mutants sonicwave can also affect Cyborgs and Machines. In addition, the combat/wait times have been adjusted and the probability of success increased. Finally, due to the inherent instability found in this genetic mutation, it randomly triggers an innate defensive mechanism during combat.
Rend: A new ability has manifested in our little glowing ones, as they continue to evolve due to their genetic mutations. By morphing their head into a giant mouth, Mutants are can take enormous bites out of both flesh and metal alike. This attack will inflict damage to the victim and at the same time slightly heal the mutant if they ingest organic flesh.
Psiblast mana usage has been changed.

The formula used to calculate most of the percentage based damage reduction skills and abilities (such as Damcon) have been changed. The new formulas now take into account the level of the character.

News for 2011.04.27
The Barbarian class has just undergone a complete overhaul. The following skills and abilities have been changed:
Barehanded damage has been improved and gets better with higher remorts.
A new innate ability has been added, called TRUE GRIT. This automatically increases the multiplier for items worn in affected ARMOR positions.
The reliability of Back From the Brink has been improved significantly. In addition, it now restores all hit points. It requires a minimum of 100 mana points to use, but takes all mana and movement points if successful.
Swordplay has been removed from Barbarians.
The Berserk skill now lasts significantly longer and its probability has been increased. When enabled it will decrease armor rating, decrease combat speed slightly, and significantly increase damage. In addition, when berserked, it will occasionally land an extra CRITICAL HIT during battle.
Grapple has been changed so that you can’t be wielding a weapon. In addition, the success rate has been improved.
The probability of Bash has been increased.
Elbowstrike no longer uses moves, but will take a small amount of hit points instead. The damage output has been increased and the combat/wait times were tweaked. The probability of success has also been improved.
Bodyslam success rate has been increased. It also has new damage calculations and has the possibility of reducing the victims intelligence by 1 point for a tick or two.
The probability of success on Piledriver has been increased and the damage calculations have been improved. Combat/Wait times have also been adjusted.

QUEST: TDOME Easter Quest…
Someone pressed the wrong button in the Dark-One’s laboratory and inadvertently enabled the robotic assembly line that builds the Cybo Easter Bunny. Now, instead of one Cybo Easter Bunny, there are several and they have made their way into the TDOME world. It is your mission to disable them and obtain their payload of legendary Golden Eggs. Due to the menacing nature of these Cybo Easter Bunnys, a prize will be awarded to the first team who acquires at least 6 Golden Eggs. Individuals and teams will only be awarded a prize, if they were in on collecting all 6 Golden Eggs that are turned in.
The quest will end tonight at 20:00 PDT.
